Research Interests

Computational methods for real-world problems, with particular interests in mathematical modeling, optimization, and data-driven decision making. I am particularly interested in problems that combine practical impact with methodological or theoretical depth.

Biography

Sicheng Qu received an Honors Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Shandong University in 2026. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, under the supervision of Prof. Jiannong Cao and Prof. Yuntian Chen. His current research interests are still evolving, with a particular focus on problems that arise from real-world needs while offering meaningful methodological or theoretical research opportunities.
