Course Objectives: The objective of this course is to impart hands-on experience to the students in the various stages of project design; proposal, costing, pricing, marketing, standards, patents, quality and reliability, safety, (electronic) manufacturing methods and systems, engineering innovation. The students will pick up design skills and the necessary knowledge in the various stages of product design. The students will be encouraged to come-up with innovative design solutions for the assigned problem and will be provided with all necessary support to develop the prototype.
