Purpose of the Project

The aim of this project is to provide an e-Learning platform of reading and writing, to allow students communicate with other students through forum, to motivate students in Chinese learning and sharing learning experience.

Design /methodology /approach

Design a teaching and self-learning tool which can be applied in all subjects of secondary school. To improve students' skills in writing, reading and communication with the e-Learning platform and online community.

Findings /Results /Evaluation of the Project

The platform was developed successfully, student could finish writing and reading exercise on the platform. Teachers could comment and monitor student learning progress though the platform, learning effectiveness was improved.

Project limitations /implications

F.1 students are not familiar with Chinese input software

Practical implications

Students could practice writing anytime with the e-Learning platform. Teachers got the idea of new writing concept and got familiar with teaching with IT support.

Originality/value (Importance) of the project

Student' writing skills, interest, reading skills and communication skills were improved by the e-Learning platform and online community.
