Description
The project aims at promoting students’ creativity, high order thinking skills and spatial presentation abilities through the application of a 3D printer in realization of design ideas.
Purpose of the Project
The aim of this project is to improve students' capability in design and technology, to let students create high quality products with 3D printing devices, to motivate students in design learning, to reduce the limitation of student creation and danger of injury in producing.

Design /methodology /approach
To implement students' ideas with 3D printing technology, production time can be reduced by the usage of computer, and improve learning effectiveness.
Findings /Results /Evaluation of the Project
Students could create various kinds of product with the help of 3D printing software and 3D printer, this increased students' interest in design and technology learning. There was no student injured during the 3D printer usage.
Project limitations /implications
Printing time in class was insufficient, some student designs were too detailed to have sufficient printing time.
Practical implications
New technology application helped student try different technology products /tools and improved students' integrate knowledge in IT. Students learnt the process of 3D printing, this helped them in self development.
