Speech Therapy iPad Applications for Special School
Description
The project aims at developing speech therapy iPad applications as teaching tools for students with intellectual disabilities to enhance “Learning and Teaching” quality.
Purpose of the Project
The aim of this project is to achieve an average motivation index of 4.75 with to-be-developed speech therapy apps - a 25% increase from current index, to achieve an average treatment success rate of 80% with to-be-developed speech therapy apps - a 25% increase from the traditional speech therapy methods.

Developed 3 Cantonese speech therapy apps as teaching tools to improve the motivation and treatment success rate of speech therapy.
Findings /Results /Evaluation of the Project
The project achieved a success rate of 83% which is a 30% increase from the traditional speech therapy methods. Whilst such achievement was based on the data collected among the students of project. There are 485 downloads of three develops apps.
