The project aims at cultivating students’ good personality and fostering Character Education by building up an interactive learning community network in E-platform.
Purpose of the Project
The aim of this project is to develop an online platform for students and teachers, sharing learning materials, providing online evaluation and having communication among students, to design and promote teaching material sets, to conduct seminars for parents.

The online platform provides different frameworks, such as news analysis framework (i.e. Time, Venue, People involved, Cause and effect, Suggestions, etc.), character analysis framework, and a thinking box (e.g. My opinion, Reasons for my disagreement, Remarks, My feelings, My experience sharing, etc.), guiding students to learn how to analyze current affairs and study people's characters and behaviour, fostering their character education.
Findings /Results /Evaluation of the Project
The platform was developed successfully, 83.4% of teachers and 66.6% of students who used the platform agreed the platform is helpful. Parents participated in the seminars are interested in the platform.

Practical implications
The news analysis framework (including the six elements of news) and character analysis framework help to foster students character education and develop their social awareness. Students would have more opportunities to read news and analyze the current affairs in different perspectives which helps them to prepare for the Liberal Studies curriculum in senior secondary.
