Purpose of the Project
The aim of the project is to develop a multimedia website with a large number of Chinese culture related materials presented in different formats for increasing students' learning interest and for them to better learn about Chinese Language, Chinese History and Chinese culture subjects.

Design /methodology /approach
Consolidated a large number of Chinese culture related materials in 18 series and 200 topics. Teachers can download various multimedia materials (images, text, animation, videos) for teaching use. Through the multimedia and interactive webpage, it helps to increase students' learning motivation and to learn more about the Chinese culture.
Findings /Results /Evaluation of the Project
The project was actively promoted to the secondary schools in Hong Kong and there were more than 20,000 views on the website. Over 80% of interviewed teachers and students reported to find the website very informative. Moreover, videos are available in Cantonese and Putonghua, and teachers can print out the video content as teaching notes for students' learning.

Practical implications
Using multimedia, it helps students to better understand Chinese culture, complementing with the Chinese Culture, Chinese History, Chinese Language subjects in Hong Kong secondary schools. Teachers, students were able to engage teaching and learning in an interactive way using information technology, and to strengthen the understanding towards the country, history, culture, and identity, and to reflect.
Social implications
To cultivate students' moral and intellectual development and to enhance their confidence and pride towards their nation through reading a large number of interdisciplinary, multimedia topics about Chinese culture.
Originality/value (Importance) of the project
Each topic was developed by experienced educators and experts from Hong Kong and the Mainland, which helps to ensure the accuracy of the relevant topics, as well as academic authority
