Home Framework Measure Databases Results Publications	Measure of Segmentation Quality We developed a pixel based measure for segmentation evaluation. It allows for some reasonable geometric inconsistencies of the local boundaries in the segmentation. In combination with a global confidence value, the distance for the whole segmentation can be calculated as the average of all pixel-to-pixel distances to the composite reference segmentation image.
