I'm looking for people to work with me on cutting-edge research on embedded systems, CPS and IoT. Both theoretical and system guys are welcomed! In particular, if you have backgrounds in real-time scheduling theory, formal verification, program analysis, operating systems, deep learning, you will very likely find my on-going projects interesting to you. About Me
I recieved my PhD from Uppsala University, Sweden in 2013 and joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in 2015. I worked in Northeastern University, China, located in my home city Shenyang, for a couple of years before joining PolyU. Apart form doing theoretical research, I'm also involved in some projects building cool stuffs that can run (mostly IoT and end-device computing systems), together with my industry parteners.

- Receive Best Paper Award of EMSOFT 2020. Our Paper "Efficient Feasibility Analysis for Graph-based Real-Time Task Systems" wins the Best Paper Award of EMSOFT 2020 (International Conference on Embedded Software), a top conference in the field of embedded computing systems and software.
- Serve as the PC Chair of RTAS 2021. Please consider to submit your fine work. RTAS (IEEE Real-Time and Embedded Technology and Applications Symposium) is a flagship conference in the field of real-time and embedded computing systems.
- Serve as the Deputy Track Chair of RTSS 2020 Track 2. RTSS (IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium) is a flagship conference in the field of real-time and embedded computing systems.
- Receive 2020 ACM SIGBED Early Career Researcher Award. ACM SIGBED is a focal point within the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for all aspects of embedded computing systems and cyber-physical systems, including both software and hardware. ACM SIGBED in 2017 established the Early Career Researcher Award to recognize contributions by junior researchers in the area of embedded, real-time, and cyber-physical systems.
- Serve as the Track Co-Chair of ICPADS 2020, Architecture Track. Please consider to submit your fine work. ICPADS (IEEE International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Systems) is a major international forum for scientists and engineers to exchange and share new ideas and their latest research results regarding systems that are inherently parallel and/or distributed.
- Receive Outstanding Paper Award & Best Student Paper Award of RTSS 2019. Our Paper "Mixed-Criticality Multicore Scheduling of Real-Time Gang Task Systems" wins the Outstanding Paper Award and Best Student Paper Award of RTSS 2019 (IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium), a flagship conference in the field of real-time and embedded computing theory and systems.
- Serve on the TCRTS Executive Committee. TCRTS (IEEE Technical Committee on Real-Time Systems) promotes and facilitates the exchange of research results and development in the areas of real-time systems, including applications, databases, distributed and parallel systems, formal methods and timing analysis, networks, operating systems and middleware, programming languages, scheduling and resource management, security, and verification and validation.
- Receive Best Paper Award of ISORC 2019. Our Paper "Improving Multiprocessor Real-Time Systems with Bursty Inputs under Global EDF using Shapers" wins the Best Paper Award of ISORC 2019 (IEEE International Symposium on Real-Time Distributed Computing).
- Serve as the PC Chair of SETTA 2019. Please consider to submit your fine work. SETTA (Symposium on Dependable Software Engineering) will take place in Shanghai, China, Nov. 28-29, 2019.
