A true spirit of innovation. A renaissance is happening in China.
Ma Fei : The album of “Shouldn't Have Learnt Playing Guitar/Dang Chu Jiu Bu Ying Gai Xue Ji Ta,” a marvelous example of making great elegance out of ordinary. His seemingly vulgar humor exudes passionate humanity and deep Zen wisdom (you got to know the Shaanxi dialect of Chinese to fully worship his works).
Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus : “Requiem,” “Laudate Dominum, Vesperae Solennes de Confessore.”
Mutter, Anne-Sophie : “Gabriel Fauré, Berceuse in D Major, Op.16” in the recording of “Carmen-Fantasie (1993),” the image of God herself.

Song Dongye: Song of Empty Harbour / Kōng Gǎng Qǔ,” “Guo Yuanchao / Guō Yuán Cháo,” “Enlightened / Zhī Dào,” and the album of “Ān Hé Bridge North / An He Qiao Bei.” Despite of all the controversies, he is a living proof that modern-day Chinese can still write poems, and “poetry ... are what we stay alive for” ( -- from the “Dead Poets Society”).
The Strauss : For their magnificent and festive Waltzes and Polkas.
Tchaikovsky, Peter Ilyich : For his majestic ballet music, passionate “Violin Concerto in D major,” and heroic “Pathetique.”
Unknown : “Flowing Water / Liú Shuǐ,” with its legendary origin from more than 2,000 years ago, and a known evolution history of more than 1,400 years, it might be the world's earliest impressionism master piece.
Vivaldi, Antonio : For his harmonic and pleasant Baroque music.
Xian Xinghai : “Yellow River Cantata” and the derived “Yellow River Piano Concerto.”
Xu Wei : For his magical reincarnation of oriental spiritual freedom and tranquility into rock'n'roll
