Biometrics Research and Innovation Centre (BRIC)

Biometrics Research and Innovation Centre (BRIC) is a world-class research which is engaged in the innovation of cutting-edge AI technologies for the high security and data forensic applications.

Its objective is to nurture, train and cultivate local talents, who will innovate AI technologies for tomorrow. This research center is especially dedicated to address emerging security related challenges and provide critical early warning support for the protection against human-based threats, mission-critical identity applications and for the artificial intelligence industry.

This center involves several researchers from the Vision and Graphics Group and the Security and AI Group in the Department of Computing, as well as from the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
