General information
1. The target of the first course project is to achieve the subject learning outputs of basic learning ability for multimedia software.
2. You are required to self-study one multimedia software or some functions of one multimedia software and give 20 minutes presentation.
3. The course project is the group work with less than 4 person(s) each group. The group members have the same scores for the course project.
4. First project is 15% of the assessment of this course.
Initial schedule
1. Jan. 15 - Jan. 22 Send the group information to TA by csshzhong@comp.polyu.edu.hk
Group information: Name, student ID, E-mail.
2. Jan. 25 - Jan. 29 TA will assign an official group number to you after receiving you email.
3. Jan. 29 - Feb. 5 Choose one software for self-study and presentation
I will post the topic list out of my office PQ 722. Sign your official group number on the form.
One software only can be chosen by one group. First come, first choose.
4. Feb. 12 Presentation date is available.
5. Feb. 26 Presentation of introduction to multimedia software begins.
grading schemes
The course project is totally 100 points. Your presentation is evaluated from three aspects:
1. 30 points for the topic choice
qIs it a novel software or a novel part of a well-known software?Is it useful and powerful for multimedia processing?
2. 40 points for the software understanding
