Research Student Progress Monitoring All RSs are required to submit a progress report by the end of each semester. They are required to provide their own assessment on the progress made during the semester. All RSs should directly send their progress reports to G.O. (c/o Miu) rather than to their Chief Supervisors by 30 June 2003. Upon receipt of reports from students, the reports will be further distributed to respective Chief Supervisors for comments. Chief supervisors will be given 2 weeks' time to provide their comments. Please note with attention that when completing the report, you are advised to follow certain standard and to highlight your achievement/progress in point forms, e.g. courses taken (with grades), papers submitted/accepted/in preparation, milestones in research such as program module implemented, system component designed, algorithm devised, etc. It is targetted that the DRC Chairman will receive the progress reports by mid July 2003.
