Course Objectives:

The key objective of this course is to help students develop an integrated view of the planning, management, and control of information systems in the organization. This course provides fundamental knowledge of information systems, their architecture and IT infrastructure. This course also provides an opportunity to students in developing critical evaluation in the selection and appraisal of relevant approaches, methods and techniques in solving real-life business problems related to the use of information systems.

Information Systems Management’s Leadership Role, Strategic use of IT and IS Planning, Information Systems, Organization and Control, IT architecture and IT operations management, Building and Managing Systems Implementation, Systems for supporting knowledge based work.
